In my 10 years at Summit, I've worked in several roles, from the front desk, to pricing, to my current role as Executive Assistant to the leadership team. I love this industry because it's always changing, and people are always coming up with new things. My favorite part of my role is planning and coordinating fun events for our employees, from chili cook-offs to holiday parties! When the hard work is done, we never miss an opportunity to gather together and just connect as people.

People look out for your growth here.  Summit helped me to get my Forklift Certification so I could take on a new role. The warehouse is hard work, but you also have flexibility—so as long as you do your job, you'll be well compensated and have good work-life balance.

I’ve been here 26 years, and I was 26 years old when I started! Since I’ve been here so long, I like sharing knowledge with new people. The beverage industry is a pretty safe industry, and I find it quite interesting, the difference between beers, sodas, cocktails, and spirits — all the rules and specifications. And I have a good work/life balance; I get to show up at work and show up for my kids.

What I love the most about Summit is that there’s so much room to grow. My team has consistently invested in me, and I’ve had the opportunity to work in various departments over the last six years. I’ve had wonderful mentors in each position I’ve held. The consistent support makes me feel more driven to keep learning as much as I can every day.
