Tom Stillman is the Chairman and CEO of Summit Distributing. He entered the beer business in 1994 with the acquisition of a local wholesaler. Tom, a lifelong hockey fan, is also Chairman and Governor of the St. Louis Blues.
A former lawyer, from 1988 to 1993 he was with the U.S. Department of Commerce, in Washington, D.C., where he was Chief Counsel for Export Administration, responsible for legal aspects of national security-based controls on sensitive exports. Before that, from 1978 to 1988, he was with the New York law firm Dewey, Ballantine, Bushby, Palmer & Wood, working from the firm’s New York and Washington offices.
Stillman was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1978. He attended Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont, where he played hockey and soccer before graduating in 1974.
He serves on the boards of the St. Louis Blues 14 Fund; Commerce Bank, St. Louis Region; the St. Louis Sports Commission; Logos School and the Nature Conservancy in Missouri.
Kim Barrow joined Summit Distributing in March, 2001 as General Manager after working a combined 16 years with Coca-Cola Enterprises and Frito-Lay, Inc. in a multitude of sales and management positions.
Currently, as President and Chief Operating Officer, Kim’s primary responsibilities include general management of sales & marketing, administration, operations & distribution, financial management, supplier & employee relations and strategic planning.
Kim earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Texas A&M University – Commerce in Commerce, Texas and an executive master’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Kim serves on the MillerCoors Central Region Distributor Council, the National Distributor Council and has served as Chairman of the Missouri Beer Wholesalers Association.
John Hummel joined Summit Distributing in January, 1999 as Sales Manager after working a combined 12 years with Miller Brewing Company and the Ernest & Julio Gallo Winery in a multitude of sales and marketing positions.
As Executive Vice President & Chief Sales Officer, John’s primary responsibilities include chain account management, portfolio management, supplier relations and strategic planning.
John earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Business Administration from North Carolina State University.
John serves on the MillerCoors Walmart National Distributor Council, Pabst Brewing Company National Distributor Council, and both The Boston Beer Company and Heineken USA Regional Distributor Councils.
Brian Robinson joined Summit Distributing in October, 2007 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer after spending five years in consulting and 18 years in the beverage industry (Pepsi), plastics manufacturing, and printing, in a multitude of finance and management positions.
As Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Brian’s primary responsibilities include administrative team management, financial management, human resource management, information technology management and strategic planning.
Brian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Southern Illinois University / CPA.
Bill joined Summit in February of 2007 as a delivery driver and has held multiple positions within the company, including Merchandising Manager, Warehouse Manager, Delivery Supervisor, and Distribution Manager. As Distribution Manager, Bill’s responsibilities included management of the delivery team, logistics planning, fleet and budgetary management.
As Vice President of Operations, Bill’s primary responsibilities include management of the facility, inventory and all employees involved with the day to day operations of Summit Distributing.
Bill earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications of Science from Truman State University.
Mark Branham joined Summit Distributing May, 2018 as Operations Manager. Mark worked with QT for 26 years starting as a Night Assistant Manager and held other positions including Store Manager and completed his work at QT as an Executive becoming the Division Manager for the last 16 years.
As Operations Manager, Mark's primary responsibilities include building and facilities management, distribution center operations & inventory, personnel management and development, financial planning, budgeting and strategic and tactical planning.
John Hoerchler joined Summit in May 2005 as a Marketing Analyst. He has then held many positions with the company including Marketing Analyst Manager, then Accounting Manager and also Senior Finance Analyst before his current title.
John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Lindenwood University.
Kevin joined Summit Distributing in March of 2016 as an Account Manager and has held multiple positions within the company including Driver, Warehouse Manager, and Small Format Channel Manager. In addition, Kevin worked at Lohr Distributing in St. Louis, Missouri for 7 years as an On-Premise Account Manager. While in Albuquerque, New Mexico, he worked for Premier Distributing as a Draft Technician and Admiral Beverage as a Driver Supervisor and Sales Manager for both the On and Off-Premise.
Currently, as On-Premise Sales Manager, Kevin’s primary responsibilities include moving the On-Premise business forward by aggressively executing innovation, increasing distribution, and maximizing the potential of our brands, representatives, suppliers, and customer service.
Mike Meier joined Summit Distributing in March of 2015 as a Large Format Channel Manager, and was promoted to Large Format Sales Manager in September of 2016. Mike was promoted to Small Format Sales Manager on year later in November 2017. Prior to Summit Distributing, Mike worked a combined 19 years as District Sales Manager for both Coca-Cola Enterprises and Bimbo Bakeries.
Currently, as Small Format Sales Manager, Mike’s primary responsibilities include Off-Premise sales execution, personnel management and development, budgetary management, supplier and employee relations, sales and sales operational planning.
Mike graduated from University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server.
Marty Bub joined Summit Distributing in July, 1998 as Key Account Manager after working a combined 20 years in a multitude of sales and management positions with Durkee Foods and Sunshine Biscuit in the St. Louis and Midwest markets.
Currently, as Senior Key Account Manager, Marty’s primary responsibilities include managing distribution, pricing and ads in the three St. Louis area supermarkets, managing Quik Trip pricing, distribution and Plan-O-Grams, coordinating key supplier/retailer promotions, strategic planning in pricing management and supplier promotions.
Marty is also a Cicerone Certified Beer Server.
Corey Perkins joined Summit Distributing in March of 2007 as a Pull-up Merchandiser. He has worked as an Off-Premise Account Manager, a Category Management Analyst, a Large Format Channel Manager, a Large Format Sales Manager, a Small Format Sales Manager, a Key Account Manager, and a Category Manager.
Currently, as Category Manager/Small Format Key Account Manager, Corey’s primary responsibilities include Category Management, personnel management and development, strategic planning, Key Account Management with Small Format chains, budgetary management, supplier and employee relations, sales and sales operational planning.
Corey graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server, and is JDA Space-Planning Plus certified.
John Griesedieck joined Summit Distributing in August, 1999 as an On-Premise Sales Manager after working a combined 10 years for Griesedieck Imports, a specialty beer and wine wholesaler, where he held a variety of roles including Beer Driver, Draft Technician, and Director of Beer Sales. John’s Great Grandfather, “Papa Joe” Griesedieck founded the Falstaff Brewing Company in St. Louis, Missouri.
Currently, as Business Development Manager, John’s primary responsibilities include primary contact for On-Premise chains and sport/entertainment venues, conducting monthly business reviews with key account management, manages distribution and sales goals, development and execution sales objectives, and coordinating key supplier/retailer promotions.
John attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas and St. Louis University in Missouri. He is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server.
Matt joined Summit in November of 2015 as a Craft Account Manager and was promoted to Craft Brands Manager in January of 2017.
Currently, as Craft Brands Manager, Matt’s primary responsibilities include primary support resource for craft suppliers, manages distribution and sales goals of craft brand, strategic planning in craft beer segment (pricing, placement, promotions, and programing), development and execution against craft brand sales objectives and coordination of key supplier promotions.
Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Columbia College.
